The survey showed that Loudoun County has the highest median household income in the nation, at $107,207. Loudoun County incomes were up $7,836 per household from the year 2006, surpassing Fairfax County wich had an average income of $105,241.
The top five Counties in Virginia ranked as follows:
1) Loudoun County, $107,207
2) Fairfax County, $105,241
3) Arlington County, $94,876
4) Stafford County, $87,629
5) Prince William County, $87,243
Furthermore, the bureau also ranked Loudoun County the 5th fastest growing County in the nation and the first in all of Virginia. Since the year 2000, Loudoun County population grew by 109,198 residents. In 2003, Loudoun was the fastest growing County in the nation adding 48 new residents daily. In the latest survey, Loudoun was welcoming 27 people per day.
