What on earth is social media?
One of my favorite quotes is “If you are not on a social media site, YOU’RE NOT ON THE INTERNET.” So what is social media? Well, a famous social media site, Wikipedia.org, describes it as “... is an umbrella term that defines the various activities that integrate technology, social interaction, and the construction of words, pictures, videos and audio.” I know, I know you are saying “In English please?” Well in English, social media is people having conversations online.

In 2008, I Am Modern Magazine was a double finalist for Entrepreneur of the Year and Product of the Year categories in Loudoun Chamber of Commerce Small Business Awards. We ended up winning the Entrepreneur of the Year Award for 2008. Following is a brief interview with our Founder and Publisher, Hulya Aksu.
