Sorrento Grill

We have been a long time customer of Sorrento Grill in Herndon, so when we heard that they were opening a restaurant in Ashburn, we were ecstatic. This new location is richly decorated with mosaic covered walls, inside fountain and a mahogany wood full bar.

Oasis Gourmet Grill

A Delightful Persian Food Sanctuary in the Middle of Ashburn: I am a Turkish-American and I am proud of the fact that my people introduced Shish Kebab to the world, but I must admit Persians perfected it. In Turkey and other parts of the Mediterranean, kabob shops are as common as hot dog stands in New York. Today, thanks to America’s open heart and palate for international foods, they are becoming more common in Northern Virginia as well.

Willards's Real Pit BBQ!

A Great Pit Stop for Lunch with Family:

I am a big fan of BBQ ribs and Houston’s Restaurant is my favorite place for them. However, if you are looking for an affordable and family oriented BBQ place in and around Loudoun/Fairfax Counties, Willard’s is a great place. Situated in a strip mall near the Expo Center (off of 28), Willard’s is modestly decorated with giant pictures of families for the 1950s eating BBQ around long tables. You line up, order your meal and take a seat. In a very short time your food is ready for you.

Coastal Flats Fairfax

Newly built in the Fairfax Corners Shopping Center, Coastal Flats is the newest addition to the Great American Restaurants collection, the good people who brought us Sweetwater Tavern and other Northern Virginia culinary hotspots.

The restaurant is beautifully decorated in a Caribbean style, with plenty of natural sunlight and a colorful décor that gives the place a very open and refreshing ambiance. But the patio is what deserves special mention. Spacious and comfortable, it sports a full bar and plenty of tables. All around the guests are eager-to-please waiters and bar tenders who make you feel right at home.

La Rue 123

Dynamic couple Didem and Huseyin Kansu, formerly of Le Tire Bouchon, literally set up shop next door with their new French restaurant, La Rue 123. Located in the historic Bailiwick Inn building and on Route 123, the location is also called the Joshua Gunnell house. Joshua Gunnell is the last of the infamous line of Fairfax Sheriffs from the same family. Inside the restaurant has been painstakingly redecorated by Didem including soft yellow paint on the walls, burgundy fabric for the drapes and original art all around. She has also showed her magic in the beautiful patio area in the back of the building.
