Who would have guessed that the Vietnamese staple, Pho, originated from the classic French stew “Pot-Au-Feu?” Pho which is probably the Vietnamese pronunciation of the French word “Feu”, meaning fire, has gone through many modifications to become a Franco-Chinese-Vietnamese melting pot.
