The first time I visited Le Pain Quotidien was 4-5 years ago in New York City. I was in the city and I went to the Met with my childhood girlfriend. When we came out in the afternoon, she said “I am going to take you to this Belgian bakery where we can have cappuccinos in giant sauce cups and delicious apricot tarts.” I think it was somewhere in the Upper East Side. I have been hooked ever since. Le Pain Quotidien

Some people in Loudoun County still don’t realize that there is a Cheesecake Factory in the parking lot of Dulles Town Center Mall. We no longer need to go to Tyson’s Corner to experience this great restaurant, and there’s definitely something here for everyone. Although the menu can be overwhelming, it certainly provides many options. The atmosphere is very open with a feeling of warmth emphasized by amber hues used throughout. Take special note of the funky lighting and ceiling murals (my daughter loved it and stared at the “ceiling fairies” for at least 10 minutes!).

A round the world in 30 minutes? Killer desserts? Hold that hot air balloon!
As a child, if you liked Jules Verne novels, you would like eating at this restaurant. Tucked away in the back of Sunset Business Park, you can find a rich mixture of Thai-Southeast Asian, Indian, Latin American-Caribbean, Cajun and Mexican dishes in one place. The interior is tastefully decorated and the walls are adorned with cute ethnic artifacts that make the statement “I am Fusion.”
Grill Kabob

Best kabob you will ever eat in Northern Virginia, and OMG, it’s in the mall!
You are in the mall and your feet are aching. You spent way too much and you didn’t even buy what you came in to get. Kids are screaming more than usual. Wait. There is bliss right around the corner and it’s called Grill Kabob. We can hear Gregorian chants as we say the name. When we eat there, we are one piece of baklava away from heaven. The Middle Eastern eatery is a mom’s dream come true. They are renown for their chicken kabobs. They serve the juicy tender pieces of white chicken meat chargrilled over an open fire and served over two types of rice, one spiced and one perfectly buttered.
