Digg!
As promised, my weekly blog is about answering your burning questions in LC.  My first question came from Mary in Ashburn. Mary asked:When will we get an organic super market anytime soon?  Like Whole Foods or Trader Joe’s.  Thank you... Well Mary I did some research and hopefully you will be satisfied with my answer.Unfortunately, it does not look like Two Buck Chuck is in your near future. I did however contact Trader Joes and they promised me that every e-mail for a location request is passed on to their real estate folks. For more information I have attached their website with their locations.   http://www.traderjoes.com/locations.aspAs for Whole Foods, I pretty much received the same answer. They encouraged me to e-mail them at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it . They also wanted me to send as much info as possible about my location for example: Photographs (or renderings if under development/construction)  Site/Building plan  Information about surrounding businesses  Area demographics and/or neighborhood information It looks like the only way we are going to have a Whole Foods or Trader Joes in Loudoun County is to start a revolution and e-mail these sites until they are sick of us.There is some good news. There is a local store that carries a complete line of organic foods. It is called For Goodness Sake and is located at Market Station in Leesburg the phone number is 703-771-7146. The company--United Foods--is a national distributor of organic foods from which Natural Food companies, health stores and other stores use as a food purveyor.  Wegmans and Whole Foods are large customers of United Foods. Case discounts are 5 or 10 percent.

Keep your questions coming, LC!
