I AM Modern Magazine for Moms

"eat our words" will give our readers a detailed review of American Flat Bread (AFB) in the next issue of Modern Mom Magazine due out in January of 2008.  Until that time, I wanted to write few words about this establishment because I like the way they support our Loudoun community. 

As you may already know, the good folks at AFB buy their produce, herbs and meat locally.  They recently contracted out their pie making to a local mother living in Broadlands (Ashburn).  She makes 2 kinds of delicious pies, Pumpkin and Apple, and delivers them to AFB when they need more.  According to Janice Vasko, owner of AFB, the pies are so popular that they can't keep enough of them at the restaurant.  This is a great example of good business citizenship and I applaud their efforts to support the community where they conduct business.  Thank you and bravo AFB.
