Some of you may have already met Tiffany Bogaty, the head aesthetician of Loudoun Dermatology, when she was featured in the Spring 2008 issue of this magazine. In person she is both as energetic and knowledgeable as she appeared in the article. Tiffany joined this office 2 ½ years ago after convincing the two physicians, Doctors Ha and Moreland that they would benefit from her services. They never looked back.

Stepping into this pleasant office, you are immediately plunged into a ‘spa mood’ when your senses are surrounded by soothing music, running water fountains, and aromatherapy. Botox (sold in units), fillers, facials, etc. are all part of what you will find here, but if laser treatment is what you’re after, then this is the place. They take their laser seriously here, as all laser work is done by doctors (except laser hair removal, which is performed by a nurse).

It’s hard to talk about this medispa without talking about its founder, and this issue’s Cover Mom—Dr. Dima Ali.

First there is the plush atmosphere and the professional and knowledgeable staff that greet you when you arrive for your appointment.Then there are the pictures of celebrities. As you look around you notice that this spa has been featured in Cosmetic Surgery Times, Vogue, DaySpa Magazine, In Style Magazine, Health and Beauty, and has been named by The Washingtonian and The Washington Post as one of the “Top Medical Spas in the USA.” OK, you think—show me what you got.

This medispa may be small, but it has huge offerings. For instance: A lot of the medispas we interviewed discussed the Fraxel Laser Re:pair as one that they were looking into purchasing. Dr. Gerrish is not only a major advocate, but has been using it almost since it was approved late 2007. So much so, that between the Re:pair and Re:store lasers, Dr. Gerrish has become the 4th largest fraxel user in the country!
