If you have not yet heard about Endermologie—You will! For the past few weeks, I have been the guest of Donna at Spa Fusion as they turned me on to this growing sensation. Basically Endermolgie is FDA approved to:
Reduce appearance of cellulite- Increase circulation
- Relive minor aches and pains
- Relax muscle spasms
It’s also been found to have beneficial effects in fibromyalgia, multiple sclerosis, arthritis, pre and post op treatments, etc.
Here is how it works—First you put on this (throwback to ballet class) body suit. Then a technician uses this suction/roller combo over your fatty areas. Think deep massage. Think relaxation. ALTHOUGH, to tell you the truth, it took me a couple of sessions before I could just go with the flow. The suckers can feel pinchy at first and you work with the technician to find your optimum comfort level. After that you just lay back and let someone else do the exercising for you. Stephanie at Spa Fusion is a master Endermologist. She is so passionate and knowledgeable about this process; you can’t help but become a convert yourself. Highly recommend it to everyone. OK, on another matter. I just heard I need to have an MRI done on a bum knee that has hurt me for a very long time. Doc suspects that I have a torn meniscus—whatever….. I’ve lived with this pain for awhile and it’s funny how you just put up with it so that it becomes normal in your life. Sort of like carrying a lot of extra weight.
I’m suffering a setback on my lifestyle change this week. I’m trying not to feel down on myself. I guess it’s like anything else, tomorrow is another day to do better.
I want to do a contest this week:
First person who gets back to me with the answer I’ll do a free photo shoot and give you an 8x10 photo of your child/dog/friend/whatever. Ready?
What’s the one common element that is the problem with the following dinner menu?
Appetizer: Brie and Goat cheese and some sushi.
Salad: Lettuces and spinach (you know the packaged greens) with alfalfa, sprouts topped with Caesar salad dressing.
Main Course: Grilled chicken and hamburgers with mayo on the side
Dessert: Cantaloupes.
