The bond is powered by knowing that no matter what happened at school that day, your horse will be eagerly waiting for you to come ride.
What makes girls and horses inseparable? This bond is powered by the gentle touch of a soft horse nose sniffing for a sugar cube, or the excitement of wind rushing through pulled-back hair as horse and rider canter across the arena. Ultimately, the bond is powered by knowing that no matter what happened at school that day, your horse will be eagerly waiting for you to come ride. |

Eating together is more important than ever, recent studies show. A report from the National Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse (CASA) at Columbia University recently found that teens who eat dinner with their family frequently (five or more per week) are less likely to smoke, drink, abuse prescription drugs or use illegal drugs than those who don’t. |

The owners of Go Bananas would like to share some information with us about shopping for toys this season. I personally feel completely freaked out about this toys from abroad scandal and would like to know where I can find safe toys. It is easier to sift through the safe list than unsafe list, since the latter is so long. I hope this sheds some light on your holiday shopping. |

Once upon a time parents and grandparents taught children to be polite, to have good table manners and to be at ease in social situations. It was expected that children would behave in a civil manner at all times, especially when out in public. Parents were horrified when their “Little Darling” sassed an adult, was mean to another child or required discipline at school.
