Favorite things about I AM Modern: My favorite thing about I AM Modern is that it is a magazine that represents and celebrates all women, no matter their age, race ethnicity or culture. I think that it is important that women follow their passions and dreams and they should not let anything get in the way of that. I know that I want to always have a career and have something I love to do even when I am married and have a family. I never want to lose myself!

About you: I am a recent graduate of George Mason University with a bachelor’s degree in public relations. I am now working for a clothing company, Union of Angels, which is sold in St. Barth and Washington D.C. I love my job because I am learning a lot about the public relations and fashion. I am also learning a lot about myself as person. I have learned that I am a very hard worker, determined, persistent and I believe that there is always a way to get something done even if it seems impossible. I think the most important thing I have learned through my career is that you can’t just sit back and hope that something happens; you have to make it happen. One day I hope to open my own public relations firm.
Modeling has also been a passion of mine for a long time. I am represented by a well respected modeling agency and I get to travel to New York a lot for photo shoots which is always so much fun and exhilarating! I also love to travel; my favorite place I have visited is St. Barth. It is such a special and different feeling I have when I am there. That is why I probably keep going back!
Aside from my career, I have a wonderful family and boyfriend. I feel so blessed to have such loving and supportive people in my life. I have become a strong and independent woman because of the confidence my family had in me! I owe it all to them!
