Hooked Exquisite Seafood & Sushi - Sterling, VA | Reviews

HOOKED EXQUISITE SEAFOOD AND SUSHI

Sleek, contemporary décor abounds at Hooked in Sterling. It’s a trendy upscale atmosphere one would expect downtown, not here in the suburbs. As my girlfriend and I arrived for a recent dinner we quickly learned that reservations are strongly recommended. The menu is vast, encompassing sushi, raw bar, soups, salads, seafood, pork, chicken and steak. I chose a signature sushi roll to start: spicy tuna with tempura flakes and avocado, fresh and delicious! My friend’s crab cake appetizer boasted large delicate chunks of crabmeat without any visible filler, served on a bed of greens. She enjoyed this so much she found herself eating every bite just short of the garnish. For my main course I enjoyed the Blacken Bluefish, a surprisingly nice fish seasoned with Cajon spices, blue cheese butter and roasted red pepper sauce. An odd sounding mix, but one that worked. A side of asparagus arrived perfectly grilled with a sprinkling of sea salt, lemon and Parmesan cheese. My friend chose the Chilean Sea Bass. The miso glaze was both sweet and salty and had been caramelized splendidly atop this delicate fish. A little too salty for my taste, however my friend was quite pleased. Desserts and Signature cocktails provided a perfect finish.

Outstanding service and delectable seafood, Hooked is a fusion of LA cool and NYC chic. Whether you stop in for drinks and music at the bar or to dine, one thing is for certain, you won’t be disappointed.

What a wonderful find! I did a search for seafood restaurant and came across this review from a year ago. Place was hopping and the food...truly fresh and well presented. I've been to PassionFish. Not impressed with their prices and food is of lessor quality than Hooked's.

When you follow the perfection, you should write the professional sociology essays writing. But, if do not know a right way to do that, the custom writing services will definitely assist you.

I don't agree. I think it is ordinary. The sushi and the rest of the menu is safe. Not cheap either. There is Passion Fish in Reston and it beats Hooked hands down.

Thanks Jennifer- just confirmed what I had heard from friends who dined there last week. So exciting to have a non chain in Loudoun!

October 2011 Just picked up a copy at my daughter's Little Gym class and found myself reading it instead of my Kindle! Enjoyed many of the essays, particularly the first year teacher at an inner-city school...and so many other articles. Kristine Meldrum Denholm, freelance journalist
