Styles that Suites your Life

At a recent Fashion Show, we gathered some of the most fun and fabulous women in the area to showcase current trends from Saks and highlighted outfits that worked for the ladies’ personalities and lifestyles.

Teresa Young

Camelia Darroodi

Teresa Young is the force behind Work It, Girl! Networking. Teresa attends several special events a week around the DC Metro area, and because she has to balance her work/mom schedule, most of them are in the evening after her husband comes home from work. Teresa is wearing this fabulous Alice and Olivia dress and boots which combine to create the perfect outfit for her to wear to a happy hour/fundraising event.   Camelia Darroodi is the co-founder of Silence Teas. Her Elie Tahari jacket, pencil skirt and blouse suit are a great example of a day to evening outfit. After a long day of marketing, she can take off the jacket, and the blouse goes perfect with the pencil skirt and the Giuseppe Zanotti Pumps for an evening out. She’s a bombshell in this!

Kristina Bouweiri

   Heidi Kallett
Kristina Bouweiri owns and operates Reston Limousine, the largest limousine/shuttle business in the DC area. Kristina is wearing a Lafayette 148 blouse and lace skirt with Jimmy Choo Dorsay pumps. This outfit is perfect for the many charity functions she attends. She is also wearing an Elie Tahari Statement coat. I loved how the ruffle on the blouse doesn’t compete with the ruffle on the coat.   Heidi Kallett is the CEO of The Dandelion Patch, an upscale Stationary store that has 2 locations in the Reston and Vienna and 2 more on the way! Heidi’s lacey green Nanette Lapore dress is a great fit and looks so cute on her. Since she is petite, it is imperative that Heidi’s garments are very fitted so we don’t lose her in the clothes. Heidi can add a wrap to this and go from daytime lunch to an evening fundraiser. The Bottega Voneta Gladiators are the perfect finishing touch.

 Becky Lee    Pamela Lynne Sorensen
Becky Lee is the founder of Becky’s Fund, a nonprofit organization that raises money to help battered women leave their abusers and become more financially secure. We liked this outfit for Becky because it’s something that she was able to wear to her 2nd annual “Walk This Way” Charity Fashion show with Erin Finn’s Custom Clothiers on September 28th. Becky is petite and this Elizabeth and James jacket ruffled skirt compliment her shape without being overbearing. Check out her perfect Christian Louboutin pumps.   Pamela Lynne Sorensen is the founder of Pamela’s Punch, a website inspired by her involvement with many civic, business, and community events and organizations. Her Carmen Marc Volvo dress paired with her Stuart Weitzman pumps are just fabulous! By adding a jacket or a wrap she can be off from a meeting to a happy hour event in minutes.

TESTIMONIALS

February 2012 Thank you for producing such a fun, current magazine full of great information. Wishing you continued (and BIG) success. Pamela Steuart.Fine Art
October 2011 Just picked up a copy at my daughter's Little Gym class and found myself reading it instead of my Kindle! Enjoyed many of the essays, particularly the first year teacher at an inner-city school...and so many other articles. Kristine Meldrum Denholm, freelance journalist
