Gift ideas by Gift Guru: Mariposa tableware and serveware

mariposaThe dog days of summer may be here, but it’s still a great time to enjoy a good party.  I love everything about backyard barbeques: good company, the smell of savory meats roasting away on the grill, cool and refreshing sweet tea in my glass, summer berry desserts and a playful game of horseshoes or badminton.  And as much as I love to host parties, I enjoy being a party guest just as much.

When I am invited to a summer barbeque, or any party for that matter, I love to give the hostess a small token of appreciation.  This summer I have fallen in love with this super cute Mariposa tableware and serveware.  While I’m tempted to stock up on it for myself, it also makes a great hostess gift.  Just one piece can make a statement and it is a practical gift that can be used over and over again.

The pieces have a very casual yet elegant garden-feel.  They represent the craftsmanship of fine art and accentuate the sumptuous delight of food.  The stylish tableware is fresh yet functional and would compliment any hostess’ collections.
