There are many styles of yoga out there – how do you find the studio that’s right for you? I’ve been practicing yoga for over eleven years, and I have found that there’s a yoga style out there for everyone.
I recently went on a “yoga quest” to sample the various studios in Loudoun County to see exactly what each one is about, and I’ve summarized my findings below to help you select a studio that will best fit your needs.

Offers a “more spiritual type of yoga that goes beyond the physical aspects and emphasizes meditation, chanting, and breathing. The class begins with some chanting and a warm up, and then progresses to series of exercises called “kriyas.” Throughout the class, the instructor explained what the postures were for – sending love into the world, helping us know our true selves, tuning in to the inner divine.
