If you’re following a healthy eating plan, what you drink is just as important as what you eat. And on the South Beach Diet, certain high-calorie beverages (like sugary sodas and fruit juices) can be diet busters. But what about alcoholic beverages like wine and beer? Starting on Phase 2 of the South Beach Diet, you can enjoy alcohol in moderation. It’s recommended that women limit their intake to one alcoholic beverage a day, and men to one or two a day. More than that not only adds calories but can also sabotage your willpower. Before grabbing a drink, check out our brief guide:

Cheesecakes are perfect desserts made of either American cream cheese or Italian ricotta cheese. I never say "no" for a slice , but my favorite is always New York style cheesecake.
My wife and I have always enjoyed a good Caesar salad. However, it was not until a trip to Palm Springs in 1999, that we experienced the true taste of a freshly made table side Caesar salad. As we watched our waiter at LG’s Prime Steakhouse mix all the fresh ingredients, we kept a watchful eye and asked lots of questions so that we could replicate at home. Actually, LG’s provides this recipe to all of its patrons because it is a signature dish. Although we have dined at many other steakhouses since, and enjoyed similar table-side Caesar salads, this recipe is still the all-time favorite. We have prepared this salad at home many times over the last 10 years and we have also made some minor tweaks.... to make it our own.... It has been a hit every time!
