As the weather begins to warm up and we come out of hibernation, the desire to get out and about increases as well. Enter summer concert season! With the plethora of concert venues in the Washington, D.C. Metro area, there are concert venues that are sure to be a perfect fit for everyone. When I was in my twenties, living in Washington, D.C., I would attend five to six shows a week. How I survived while working full-time, I’ll never know, but the experiences gave me the opportunity to explore some of the best music spots in the area ranging from 20,000+ amphitheatres and arenas to smaller music establishments housing 1,200 or less.
