The Flintstone family is still on cloud nine. My husband called his parents in Turkey the next morning to let them know of his accomplishment.

You have no idea how much this means to the entire Flintstone team. The polishers, installers, office personnel were all checking out the plaque and trophy with huge smiles on their faces because they are touched to know that the Loudoun County community believes and supports what they do each and every day. That the care and pride they have has not gone unnoticed.

I'm so proud of the courage it took for both Mustafa and Adil to take the step of opening a business with limited language skills and their willingness to continuously learn and strive for excellence. Not bad for being open only a year and a half!!

I was the same as Elizabeth...I don't remember all of what I said and for those of you who know me and my gift of gab, I was actually struggling to find words to say!!

If you weren't there, it was an overwelming event and a big BRAVO goes to all of the nominees, finalists, and winners!!

I have to say that winning that award last night was one of the most exciting moments of my life. It ranked right up there with marriage and having babies. To work hard for years on something that you know is good and right is something that lots of people do. Getting recignized by your peers for that effort is a gift and an honor.
In a state of total surprise and wearing Stuart Weitzman heels that were way too high I made my way to the stage to receive the award. I don't even remember what I said at the podium. 24 Hours later I am still high!

Congratulations to all of the finalists and the other seven award winners. It was a great night for Loudoun County!
