They also have a very considerable selection of beers on tap, which all but makes up for the second rate service that we got on our two visits there. The classic! You simply can’t go wrong with this spot. Th e wings are excellent as is the service and the rest of the menu. Clyde’s has been serving up fantastic food for DC area locals for over forty years, and they know what we like. Here you will find a huge assortment of fl avors, from the mild to the extreme. I, however, had only one thing on my mind: Th e Flatliner! Th is sauce is so hot, that I had to sign a waiver. I ordered extra beer and celery sticks, to be on the safe side. Despite the concerned look on the waiter’s face, I assured him that I was a pro. I bit in and immediately started hallucinating about burning cities and erupting volcanoes and hot lava oozing down the side of my face. I reached for my beer, and then another wing, and then another and another! Torture never tasted so good!

Wow Café’s wings are perfectly cooked, big and juicy and tossed in an assortment of sauces. A great spot for families, the menu also offers a great selection of sandwiches and wraps. The service was surprisingly good, and the beer list was impressive. This New Orleans inspired restaurant is a must- try for anyone who loves Chicken Wings!
